Welcome to Tau Kappa Epsilon! The opportunity to join the brotherhood that is TKE at George Washington University is a tradition that began back in 1935. Since the founding of the Alpha-Pi Chapter at George Washington, close to 1,000 Tekes have been initiated here. You have the opportunity to add your name to that list of men who have and continue to shape history.
Tau Kappa Epsilon is re-founding at George Washington because we believe in the mission of the university and believe that TKE is uniquely suited to be successful here. With twenty-six lifetime chapter achievement awards and prominent alumni that include the current Grand Prytanis of Tau Kappa Epsilon, we know that high caliber, well-rounded men at George Washington are attracted to TKE. The question that you must answer is if you are up for the challenge.
At TKE, we pride ourselves on excellence and work daily to build a championship culture. We do this by living out our three values of Love, Charity and Esteem - in the classroom, on the intramural fields, in our extracurricular activities and eventually, in our post-graduate lives. We prove this in our passionate effort to raise life-saving funds for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the countless hours of community service our members put into their communities and our ability to constantly prove that our actions speak louder than our words. If any of these attributes appeal to you, I encourage you to reach out to me and learn more about Tau Kappa Epsilon.
Now that you understand the opportunity to re-found TKE at George Washington, I want you to understand the type of men we are looking for. I am looking for men of sterling character who exhibit our values and pillars. I am looking for men who are high achievers both academically and outside of the classroom. I am looking for men who feel the need to help others philanthropically and through the simple act of showing up in your community to serve others.
Tau Kappa Epsilon is not one dimensional and neither are our members. Extracurricular involvement is important to us because Tekes impact the world around them and are leaders.
If you are interested in re-founding the Alpha-Pi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at George Washington University in the Spring of 2018 and believe that you fit the ideals of Tau Kappa Epsilon then please reach out to me at the provided contact information below. I am looking forward to meeting you!
